Clyde, my Pekingese began limping after the vet we had been seeing for several years closed for the weekend. With the intention of checking on Clyde’s condition on the next morning, I tucked him in for the evening, which somehow helped before deciding whether to visit the emergency vet clinic. Compared to our regular vet, the rates were so out of sight so I tried to avoid the emergency clinic in town. Animal Chiropractic
On Saturday morning, Clyde was better but he still did not seem 100%. Until I could feel the muscles relax, I spent some time massaging him again, taking care to hold pressure on trigger points. I didn’t worry too much since Clyde seemed calm.
However, come early Monday morning, Clyde’s muscles tightened up again and threw up a thick white substance that truly alarmed me. I held his tiny body close while I typed some keyword phrases into a search engine, and started looking for clues about what might be wrong. Since the name “Dr. Ava Frick” and “Ava Frick, DVM” kept popping in the engine search results, I visited her web site and called her clinic.
I was really impressed when Dr. Frick was able to squeeze us into her schedule immediately. I got the impression that her staff cared about their patients just as much as Dr.Frick did. After taking Clyde’s complete medical history, Dr.Frick conducted an examination to determine what might be wrong. She began canine chiropractic treatments right then, and we set up a schedule for treatments to continue.
Clyde’s treatment relieved him and made him comfortable, which is the most important. Although I had never heard of the concept of using chiropractic techniques on animals, I am so glad that I found someone who knew exactly how to solve Clyde’s pain.
I now recommend Animal Fitness Center and Dr. Frick’s staff to my fellow pet owners at every chance I get. Horse Joint Pain
