Dog Training Courses

If you have a new puppy, you probably need to know more about dog training courses. You have several options open to you. First, you can try to teach your dog what you want him to know. Second, you can hire a professional dog trainer. Your third option is to combine the two and get professional help from a dog training course like the Secrets to Dog Training.

The first thing that most pet owners want help with is house training their new pet. This can be frustrating, but if you have proven techniques, it is much easier.

Even if your dog won’t be a house pet, you still have a lot of training that needs to be done. You will want to control barking and keep them from jumping on people. You definitely need to make sure the dog doesn’t go around biting people. Nothing turns pet ownership into a nightmare faster than your dog biting somebody who wants to sue you.

After you have the basics covered, you may need to stop other destructive behavior. Two of the most common are chewing and digging. While digging is mostly an annoyance, chewing can be extremely expensive. All it takes is one pair of good shoes being chewed up and you paid for a dog training course.

Lets talk about your options for a minute. What many people do is try to teach their dog what they want by showing them what they want, praising them when they do good things, and scolding them when they do bad things. While this can work if you have some experience, it is hard to know what to do if you don’t have a lot of dog training experience. This is where a professional trainer comes in. For $100 or so, you can usually get into a dog training class that meets once a week for a month or two. While this price is worth it, what if you could get help from a professional for a lot less money and you could train your dog on your own schedule without having to drive to a class somewhere?

The Secrets to Dog Training offers you a professional dog training course in the comforts of your own home. It is one of the best selling dog training courses on the internet and has a money back guarantee. You’ve got nothing to lose and a lifetime of good pet behavior to gain!

Chihuahua Training

Chihuahua training can be one of the most rewarding things you do with your new (or old) pet. Not only will you wind up with a better pet, you will establish a strong bond with your dog as you go through the training. It is important that you start training your dog as soon as possible because every day you wait is one more day you have to put up with aggression, biting, barking, chewing, jumping, and bathroom “accidents”.

Chihuahua training can present some unique challenges that you don’t get with other dogs. This doesn’t mean that they are bad dogs or you shouldn’t own one, you just need to understand their nature in order to better train one.

These little dogs are fragile. They really are not suited to be around children as kids tend to be a little bit rough on pets and this could seriously hurt or kill a Chihuahua. Even simple things like jumping out of your arms or off the couch can seriously injure this little dog.

Chihuahuas are also one of the hardest dogs to house train. While some dogs will easily take to going outside to go to the bathroom, these little dogs seem to have a hard time grasping the concept that they shouldn’t poop on the floor.

Another potentially troublesome trait for Chihuahua training is stubbornness. These dogs are very smart and have a mind of their own. They also can be manipulative so you have to take a strong hand and be consistent with training. If you give them an inch, they will take a mile.

They are also prone to non stop barking and erratic behavior. While their little bark is cute at first, it can really start to wear on your nerves.

German Shepherds are one of the most versatile dogs on the planet. They can make wonderful pets or can be trained to work. These dogs can learn to do almost anything and are frequently trained to be police dogs or other service dogs. With that said, training German Shepherds needs to be approached a little different than most other dogs.

German Shepherds are big, strong, and athletic. They thrive on challenges and will do almost anything you want them to do. With that said, there are some things you need to know about training German Shepherds and the dog breed in general.

As puppies, they can be very rambunctious and excitable. Because they do get big very quickly, this can lead to problems knocking over small children or elderly people they may be around. This isn’t due to any aggression issue, it is just because of their size and nature. This is one area you really need to address with your German Shepherd training.

Another problem that can come up because of their size and nature is that they can be very destructive if left alone. A bored puppy or young dog can destroy a house if left alone without any stimulation.

As with any dog, it is important to make sure you socialize your new dog. This means putting them in non-threatening situations where they are around people and other dogs. This will make sure they don’t develop aggression issues towards strangers or other dogs.

One way to get a well trained German Shepherd is to enroll in professional training classes. This can be quite expensive though and tie you to a specific class time one or more times a week. If you miss a week, you may come in the next week and find out your dog doesn’t know what the other dogs do and you are now on your own catching up.

My preferred method for training German Shepherds and most dogs is to invest in a dog training course. They cost a lot less than professional training class and for the vast majority of dogs provide all the training resources you need. If you have a problem dog, you may have to look into professional help, but I would try the DIY method first. You are going to have to be involved in training process either way so why not try to do it at home when you want to.

There are 2 keys to German Shepherd training. First, you must be consistent and use simple commands. Second, you must use positive reinforcement. Your dog wants to please you more than you can imagine so make sure you praise them when they do a good job. These rules apply to pretty much every pet you could have.
